TENSION - A MUSICAL JOURNEY OF LIGHT AND SILENCE THROUGH TIME is a large-scale international feature film in early development. The project explores human history through music, movement, and voice - from early humanity to the present day.
This is an exploratory talent call intended to discover exceptional performers worldwide and to build a creative pool as the project evolves.
Music is not decorative - it functions as narrative, emotional expression, and cultural memory.
WHO WE ARE SEEKING
To keep submissions simple, roles are grouped into 10 categories. Please apply to one primary category only (you may mention secondary skills in your email).

Phone videos are welcome. Clear sound, visible face, and good light are essential.
If English is not your first language, simple and clear submissions are welcome.

ROLE CATEGORIES (Detailed)
1. Lead Actor–Musician Roles (2 roles)
Actors & musicians required. Professional or advanced acting level and exceptional singing and instrumental performance.
Ages approx. 20–40+
Self‑tape: 2 minutes
• 40s singing + 40s instrument (expressive, narrative)
• 40s spoken acting in English
2. Major Supporting Actor–Musician Roles (6 roles)
Same requirements and self‑tape structure as above.
3. Narrator (1 role)
Exceptional voice. English narration recorded in post‑production.
Self‑tape: 2‑minute spoken monologue demonstrating vocal contrast.
4. Child & Youth Acting Roles (Ages 1–11)
Key narrative roles representing early humanity.
No professional experience required. Musicality or rhythmic sensitivity is a plus.
Submission by parent/guardian only. Signed consent required.
5. Voice‑Over Roles (Ages 5–Adult)
Expressive voice. Used when on‑screen performers do not speak English.
Self‑tape: spoken monologue in English.
6. Minor Supporting Actor Roles (Ages 4–Adult)
Acting‑focused, non‑musical roles across eras.
Self‑tape: spoken acting only in English.
7. Minor Supporting Actor–Musician Roles (Ages 4–Adult)
Acting and music performance required. Ancient, traditional, or modern instruments.
Self‑tape follows actor–musician structure.
8. Montage Musician Roles (Ages 10+)
Non‑speaking, music‑focused roles featured in montage sequences.
Most performances will occur within performer’s country or region.
9. Final Scene Featured Musicians (18+)
Professional instrumentalists or vocalists. Non‑speaking roles.
Traditional and culturally rooted instruments encouraged.
10. Background / Extra Roles (Ages 4–Adult)
Non‑speaking atmospheric roles.
Submission by parent/guardian required for minors.

This is an early development talent call for exploratory and research purposes only. Submission does not guarantee casting, response, compensation, or future engagement. Materials may be reviewed and securely retained for internal development reference. Applicants confirm they have the right to perform and record submitted material. Formal casting decisions may evolve as the project advances.
